The inner diameter of the cylinder barrel represents the specific output force of the cylinder. Under normal circumstances, the piston needs to roll smoothly back and forth inside the Pneumatic Cylinder, and the surface roughness of the cylinder should reach Ra0.8 μ m.

Meanwhile, the end cap is also an important component. Under normal circumstances, the corresponding intake and exhaust ports are located at the top of the end cap, and some are equipped with buffering mechanisms in the end cap. The end cover on the rod side is equipped with a sealing ring and a dust ring, which can prevent the piston rod from leaking air and prevent external dust from entering the cylinder. There is a guide sleeve on the end cover of the rod, which can improve the guiding accuracy and withstand the lateral load on the upper part of the piston rod, reduce the bending amount of the piston rod when it extends, and extend the service life of the cylinder.

In the cylinder, the guide sleeve component is usually made of calcined oil containing alloy and forward leaning copper castings. At the same time, in order to reduce net weight and achieve rust prevention effect, the end cap is mainly made of aluminum alloy die-casting, while the micro cylinder is made of copper material.

In addition, the piston is an important pressure bearing component throughout the entire device. Meanwhile, in order to prevent the left and right chambers of the piston from blowing air into each other, a piston sealing ring is provided. The wear-resistant ring in the piston can enhance the dominant position of the cylinder, reduce the wear of the piston sealing ring, and lower the frictional resistance. Wear resistant rings are usually made of materials such as polyurethane, polytetrafluoroethylene, and cloth resin. The total width of the piston is determined by the size of the seal and the length of the required rolling segment. Rolling components that are too short can easily cause initial damage and jamming.

In addition, an important component is the piston rod. As an important load-bearing component in the cylinder, the piston rod is usually made of high carbon steel, coated with hard chromium on the surface, or stainless steel is used to resist corrosion and improve the wear resistance of the sealing ring.
